Carl Schaffer Jr.

Carl, President of Dune Woodworking Inc., (DWI) has over 15 years of experience in woodworking as a master craftsman. Carl took an interest in cabinetry and finish carpentry at an early age, developing his skills while working in a high end cabinet shop in Southampton and then moving on to work in his father’s small boutique cabinet shop in Quogue.

Carl has experience in handcrafting countless projects from Manhattan to Montauk, including the North Fork. In 2010 Carl opened Dune Woodworking Inc. with the dream to build a brand that not only produces unique and one of a kind millwork but also custom, made to order furniture, incorporating his talents into beautiful homes and living spaces. DWI will walk you through every step of your project from conception to completion making the transition effortless while providing you an exceptional finished product.

Carl grew up locally and now lives in Quogue with his wife Lauren and their daughter and two sons. He enjoys playing sports, fishing and boating with his friends and family, taking full advantage of our beautiful waterfront communities.

Lauren Spiegel

Lauren has lived in the Hamptons her entire life and considers herself a local. Her love of the waterfront lifestyle and the vibrant communities on the East End inspired her to pursue a career in real estate. Lauren learned the ropes from two of the Hampton’s top producers, quickly sharpening her skills in sales, marketing, and administrative work. Currently, she is an agent with The Corcoran Group’s Westhampton Office.

Throughout her 11-year career, Lauren has been involved in the rental and sale of some of the most beautiful homes in the area. As a mother of three, she understands the importance of creating a welcoming, relaxing space. She is looking forward to helping you transform your home!
